Once it is installed, NetCloak's dynamic page or "cloaking" commands will work in any page that ends with ".nclk" on your server. In addition, you can create forms and process them using FDML templates. You'll need this to view the tutorials and examples here. It will also allow you to try NetCloak in pages you create yourself.
Later you may also choose to "cloak" your entire Web site by configuring your Web server so that NetCloak will process all of the pages (all files ending in ".html"). First, though, we will start showing you how to use this powerful tool.

Cloaking Pages
- Tutorial - Using NetCloak Insert Commands
- The easiest way to start learning NetCloak, and the fastest way to improve your Web site, is to begin with NetCloak "insert" commands. This page will not only show you many insert commands and how to use them, but will walk you through creating a new "cloaked" page from scratch.
- Tutorial - Conditional HTML
- The next step in learning NetCloak is to understand how NetCloak "show" and "hide" commands work. This short tutorial will cover the basics, and give you the background you need to understand more advanced examples.
- More Useful NetCloak Commands
- Redirects and macros are are neither insert or conditional commands, but they are two of NetCloak's most useful features. Once you learn them, you won't believe you ever built web sites without them. This section also has a page that shows almost all of NetCloak's basic functions.
- The User's Guide
- The complete NetCloak User's Guide, with information on system requirements, installation, configuration details and more. For detailed command descriptions and other reference information, see the Reference Guide.
- Examples, Examples, Examples.
- After the tutorial pages above you probably have some ideas about how you can use NetCloak on your own site. On our examples server you will find even more useful things you can do with NetCloak, including some more complex examples. Implement some of the examples on your site, or let inspiration guide you to develop your own based on the examples you see.
Processing Forms
- Overview - Understanding Web Forms And FDML Files
- Even if you already understand Web forms creation, read over this short overview that describes how they work, and how you can create templates that tell NetCloak Pro how you would like form information processed.
- Info Request Example: Forms To E-Mail
- One of the easiest, and most common, forms processing jobs is sending e-mail with the information entered into the form. This example covers a very simple case, and is the perfect next step in improving your Web site.
- Guestbook Example: Adding to existing pages
- Whether or not you actually want to create a guestbook (a system where users can "sign in" and leave a permanent comment on your server) on your site, the guestbook example will show you how you can use forms to automatically add to pages on your Web site.
- Recipes Example: Creating new pages
- Taking the ext step, this example will show you how entirely new Web pages can be created on your server, allowing visitors to interact with your site and each other.
